White-winged Dark-eyed Junco
Dark-eyed Juncos are small birds of the sparrow family. They are typically dark in the head and back, and light in the chest area. There are several sub-species of this cute little bird. This is the white-winged subspecies of the Dark-eyed Junco. These birds are named for their white wing-bars. They live in the Black Hills area of North America, from South Dakota down to its winter range into New Mexico.
