Gray-headed Dark-eyed Junco
Dark-eyed Juncos are small birds of the sparrow family. They are typically dark in the head and back, and light in the chest area. There are several sub-species of this cute little bird. This is the gray-headed subspecies of the Dark-eyed Junco. These birds have lighter heads and some reddish tint to the back. They live in the southern Rockies into northern Mexico.
