European Bee-eater

The European Bee-eater is an extremely colorful bird found across much of Europe during breeding season. In the winter, these migratory gems fly south, with most of the population ending up in sub-Saharan Africa. Bee-eaters are appropriately named as they consume a lot of bees in their diet. This is our totally cute Birdorable European Bee-eater!
