Black-necked Stilt
Black-necked Stilts are shorebirds that live in western and southern parts of the United States, as well as parts of Central America and South America. The prefer wetlands, rice fields, salt ponds, and other similar habitat. Black-necked Stilts forage for food by probing their long beaks into mudflats, shorelines, and other shallow waters.
