The Flesh-footed Shearwater is a species of seabird that breeds in burrows on offshore islands around Australia and New Zealand. They spend most of their lives at sea. They come to land during breeding season; they nest in burrows in the ground.
Flesh-footed Shearwaters are mostly dark brown-black in plumage, with pinkish feet; the pinkish beak has a dark tip.
