Lesser Black-backed Gull Coloring Page

Despite the name, the Lesser Black-backed Gull is a large species of gull. They generally breed across northern parts of Europe and Asia. Lesser Black-backed Gulls take four years to reach their adult plumage. Sometimes birds are banded in order to study their movements. A Lesser Black-backed Gull with the blue band F05 has been spending its summers in Maine and its winters in Florida. It's a true "snow bird"!
