The Hyacinth Macaw is found in forest habitat in parts of South America. These birds, the largest of the macaws and the largest species of flying parrot, are vulnerable to extinction due to poaching, habitat loss, and other factors. Hyacinth Macaws are entirely blue, with yellow around the eye and at the base of the beak.
